By drawing vacuum across the membrane, your sample is quickly and efficiently filtered through the included 0.45 µm filter. When you are done filtering, the monitor quickly converts into its own Petri dish, saving you time and money, while eliminating waste. Simply cap the bottom of the monitor, remove the cylinder side tube, add media, and cap the Petri dish.
